McKee Therapy Specialists, LLC. is a family owned and operated physical therapy facility located in lovely Lutz, FL. Our mission is to be the clinic of choice by patients and physicians in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Our passion arises from assisting in the recovery of our patients. With a strong emphasis on manual techniques, knowledge of the stages of tissue healing, as well as exercises specific for each person and condition, we ensure all aspects of the rehabilitation process are achieved for our patients.

Conor McKee, DPT & Cassie McKee, DPT
Doctors of Physical Therapy, The Dynamic Duo!
Conor and Cassie met while attending physical therapy school at the University of Florida in 2008 and have both been practicing physical therapists for over 13 years. Conor’s passion lies in the treatment of orthopedic conditions, utilizing a variety of manual techniques - most notably Maitland Manual Therapy. He is also experienced in vestibular rehabilitation, helping patients manage vertigo, balance issues, dizziness, and headaches. Cassie, on the other hand, specializes in pediatric physical therapy and has extensive experience treating a wide range of pediatric diagnoses. She is certified in neonatal touch and massage and finds great joy in helping children reach their fullest potential as they grow. Though their areas of expertise differ, Conor and Cassie share the same goal: to help their patients move, feel, and perform at their best. Outside of work, they love spending quality time together with their three children.
Shelby Ruen, Office Manager
Team Administrator
Shelby joined the McKee Therapy Specialists team after several years in the insurance industry. She brings exceptional multitasking skills and a consistently positive attitude, greeting every patient with a warm smile. Shelby lives with her husband, Nick, and their four fur babies - two cats and two dogs! In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family. Shelby and Nick recently tied the knot and are now planning their extravagant honeymoon adventure!
Megan Hultgren, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Originally from Rockford, IL, Megan earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University, where she was also a student-athlete on the EMU gymnastics team. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. Since graduating, Megan has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting, treating patients of all ages with a variety of conditions. She is passionate about creating individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that empower her patients to reach their goals and return to the activities they love. As a lifelong gymnast, Megan has a special interest in working with artistic athletes, focusing on injury prevention, recovery, and performance enhancement.
Outside the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cuddling with her two dogs, and cheering on college sports with her boyfriend!
Cameron Brown, Rehab Aide & Personal Trainer
Patient Care Assistant
Cameron graduated from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. He currently works as a Rehab Aide, assisting patients throughout their recovery and supporting physical therapy treatments. In addition, he is a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, specializing in helping clients build strength, improve mobility, and make sustainable nutrition choices tailored to their individual goals. Cameron’s mission is to guide others toward healthier, stronger lives through a balanced and informed approach to fitness and wellness.
